Settled in, but schedule still messed up
After Monday's post, I was dead set on a schedule. Or at least on trying to stick to my own discipline. So much for the disciplined version I had in mind that day. I'm still all over the place, and this week is going to be a bit messed up.

Moved in for good
Last night I finally moved into my new home for good. But the unpacking is still here. What was an empty home a few days ago is now packed with unpacked boxes and a lot of random shit I don't even know why I still kept it.
At this point, moving feels harder than building a Mac app. It's the same epic struggle. You think you're done, and then there's always something else. One more box. One more fucking thing without a place to go.
Starting the day backwards
My schedule is still a mess, but today I finally started to warm up again.
At first I wanted to finish my Idea Bench #1, Random Facts. I set it aside for now and pushed it to next week.
Instead, I started this morning backwards. The thing I thought mattered least this week became my warm-up: redesigning and improving the TWO Docs website. On Monday it was a maybe, something for if there was room left. Today it was the first item on the chopping block.
Why TWO Docs went first
The reasoning is simple. I just finished building the MVP, and the whole thing is fresh in my head, so I might as well go for it. When I started a new overhaul with Claude, I realized it was more worth it to begin there and do a full audit.

Most of the features were already there. Some of them weren't shown yet, like Studio and the visual side of the product. The website was describing a version of TWO that doesn't exist anymore.
So I needed to build an improved version first, then work on the communication, and only then start the real marketing. There's no point marketing something when the site doesn't show what it does.

It's in the build phase now, and I hope to finish it this week.
Story Brew haunts me (in a good way)
The numbers say it all. After three months of hiatus, I recorded and published only one story on September 9th. But the real number is 172 plays and downloads over the last 30 days and over 9 hours of playtime!? Which is fucking amazing, by the way.

One story, after three months of silence, and people still showed up.
That tells me two things. I should record more, and I should add a waitlist on Study Brew for the language note-taking app.

I think the app and the Spotify numbers are telling me it's time to take this to the next level. Once the TWO website is done, I should build the v1 MVP of the language app and expand the Story Brew podcast.
If I record four stories tomorrow and publish two a week for now, I think I can manage myself again soon. That gives me two weeks of buffer, which is exactly the kind of breathing room I don't have anywhere else right now.
And I need that room, because I still have blog posts to write for TWO and for this blog, and I still have to drag my fucking ass over the finish line for Indie Hacker Blog.
A desk, finally. Omg.
All in all, I feel more relaxed again. Now that I've moved, I can find a new pace and work behind a desk in an office room instead of at my old dining table.
It sounds small. But it's the first time in a while that work has its own room, and dinner gets its table back.
Micro-goals
I think the best way forward for me now is micro-goals. Get my shit together, go over every item one by one again, and maybe finish the OnPoint VC concept website too.
The list is still fucking huge. Every time I look at the whole thing at once, I freeze a little. One item at a time is easier to face than all of them together.
Clearing my head
Fuck, I don't know right now. I just need to write to get my head cleared.
And it's working, a bit. Writing this, a messy week turned into a short list: finish the TWO website, record four stories, write the posts I owe, and get Random Facts back on the table next week. The boxes will still be here for a long-ass time.
It's not a schedule. But it's more than I had this morning. And this will be the last post of a wild Septemberr.
